A worldwide idea
{LOVE and DEATH?}
Listed below you will find an overview of 32 countries and in each of them I am planning to bring this project to fruition.Why these cities? What kind of considerations led me to this choice? It is a purely intuitive choice from a list of all countries, not steered by reason or rational arguments. I went through all the cities, one by one, in a deeply relaxed, meditative state and made a selection.
Soon, industrial states or economically developed countries emerged. This appears to be especially sensible, because the prospect of selling the painting at a good price and simultaneously collecting donations, promises to be most successful. These countries are mostly not affected by AIDS, apart from South Africa (Cape Town), Russia (Moscow) and India (Mumbai). As a general rule, I chose the largest city of the respective country, which often (but not always) is the capital.
The words LOVE and DEATH should ideally be represented in the original local language. Several translations still need to be done. I have reserved an internet address for each country with the corresponding country domain (provided this was possible). I want to highlight the importance of the local differences, which are far greater than we expect a midst the "globalisation" proclaimed everywhere.
I do not view this choice of countries as imperative. They stand for an ongoing development. We will see what will unfold. It is quite possible that new countries will be added and others may be dropped.

I have already found a blood donor for Vienna! Of course, it would be ideal, if the project could take place at the same time as the Life Ball in Vienna. This has not been possible for 2010, due to timing. We will see how things will develop further.www.liebeundtod.at

The project is planned to be realised in Spain in favour of the CONCORDIA organisation (Marbella), with the support of CONCORDIA's president, The Countess Marie-Louise von Schönburg, Princess of Prussia.
